Join your fellow DNA members at our next Crime and Safety Watch meeting, where we will continue to focus on the safety of our residents and businesses along the Providence waterfront from the basin of Waterplace Park to the Hurricane Barrier.
This month, we will hear from Lt. Roger Aspinall of the Providence Police Department and Lt. Abe Lugo of the RISD Department of Public Safety, before walking from Memorial Park to the Hurricane Barrier to log safety issues into the PVD311 app. (Or initial meeting in January logged issues from the basin to Memorial Park) We will focus on improving lighting and safety throughout this area and address areas of concern from our residents.
We will continue to expand our crime watch as we complete each section of downtown until our entire district has been covered. This will be an on-going project, so your participation is key! Let's get those lights turned back on, fix broken curbs/sidewalks, improve signage, open lines of communication and be safe!
ALL ARE WELCOME.
Please email Kristin Stone at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. We're looking forward to seeing you there and we thank you for your support!
