PVD Nighttime Inventory Walk with Mayor Elorza

  • Providence City Hall 25 Dorrance Street Providence, RI, 02903 United States (map)

Join us on Monday, February 12th from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM for a walk through downtown to report nighttime issues such as poorly lighted areas, potholes, graffiti, missing street signs, and other things that need fixing, cleanup, or repair. Joining us will be Mayor Elorza and his staff to see the problem areas firsthand.

We'll be using the city's new PVD311 smartphone app which allows us to identify the location, type of issue, and even submit a photo of problems in the city. App users can then monitor the status as the city works to resolve the issues.

Logistics For The Event:

  • Participants will be walking approximately 1 mile within downtown Providence in groups.

  • Wear comfortable walking shoes.

  • No food or drink will be provided.

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or be accompanied by an adult.

  • Install the PVD311 app, and create an account before arriving at the event.

  • Be on time. We plan to have brief remarks before we head into downtown and brief recap remarks after the event.
